2019-2040

Today in the auditorium we watched a documentary called 2040, Damon talked about about the planet and how to make it a better place to live in for the future. He travelled around many countries and met new people and children, he asked a few questions to the children to see what they want to see in 2040 for their future.

What surprised me: I was surprised about how Bangladesh uses solar panels and make a grid that they share with each other and it is cheap for them to use in the village. They are independent and don't depend on things on the government to give them power. By doing this it will make a big difference and makes the grid bigger.

What worried me: I was worried that the world will become more electrical and the number of plants of being planted will decrease not giving us enough oxygen and the water resource will dry out because of global warming, Related to global warming the icebergs will melt increasing the water level to rise and flood cities and villagers.

What excited me: I was excited to know about how to make it a better place so we can live in that environment better around the world, he also explained useful facts about the planet and how to reduce the waste and saving the marine life from our human activity.

What would I like to see in 2040: I would like to see more nature around us and less machinery, I would like to see less carbon dioxide and factories that don't provide more gas.

What are 2 things I learnt: The ways of connecting with others wihout wasting energy
                                           If you have a healthy impact in the past you will make the future a better place to live in.
