Inspired Writing

For a few weeks, we have been doing writing with Mr Scott. So far I enjoyed it and surprisingly my writing turned out good. It was not much of writing it was more of making the sentence more interesting so that we can all understand what the person is trying to say. We did this because the teacher wanted us to improve our sentence more so we can master that. My starting is number 1 and I had to improve and stretch my sentence from there.

Instructions For Writing

Yellow-Add adjectives to the simple sentence, to add more detail.
Blue-Add more language features like similes or metaphors to enhance the sentence.
Purple-Use topic words directly related to the picture.
Red-Use emotive language to create/clarify mood.
Green-Paint a clear picture in the mind of my readers and give the reader detailed and specific information.

2. The soldiers rode a huge aircraft and watched the battle.

3. The soldiers rode a huge aircraft and watched the world collapses as if the earth broke in half.

4. Soldiers containing heavy weapons rode a tremendous aircraft, viewed the world collapse as if the world broke in half, Half Good and Evil.

5. Lionhearted soldiers carrying weapons rode a tremendous aircraft, viewed the world collapse as if the world shattered in half, half good & half cruel.

6. The lionhearted soldiers, each leaving their lives behind rode on a tremendous flying metal, as far as their eyes can see was the world collapsing as if the world was telling to choose a side to continue your life, the clouds turned deep dark grey as if it was controlled by god. They had no hesitation to back up now. The world’s life was in their hands in order to keep Earth in balance, which would you choose…
