Dodgy Softball

Dodgy Softball Rules

Object of the Game

The object of softball is to hit the ball with a bat before the player
tries to run around the field with four bases. Once a player runs the ballers will
have two dodge balls in the middle and they will try to hit them with the dodge ball.
Once a player manages to get right round without being hit by a dodge ball is scored.
The team with the most runs at the end of the game is the winner.

Players & Equipment

Each softball team has 9 players. The game will be placed outside on the field.
The batting team first line up out of the circle, field, then balling team will throw the ball to
get ready to hit the batters with the dodge ball as soon as they run. Sizes of softball field
are often just whatever size can be found or used at the time. The corners of the field has
four bases in a diamond shape. The bases are home base (where the batter stands), first
base, second base and third base. Home plate can be found in the centre of the field where
the pitcher must stand to throw the ball. The pitcher must throw the ball underarm and must
have at least one foot on the plate at the point of ball. A batsman can be taken out by being
caught by a fielder with the softball without the ball bouncing, or being taken out by the ballers
in the middle or outside the diamond. If the batter missed hitting the ball three times they will be
out, you can tag the batters out with a softball by holding the ball and tagging them out
between the bases. The batsman can run to the first base if the baller miss catches/not catches
it. The team will swap when all the batsman make it to the home run or the ballers get three
out.

The winners of the game will be decided whoever has more points than the other
team at Batting and balling.
