Fish In A Tree
For the last three terms, we have been reading a book called Fish In A Tree. We have been reading it as a class and we finally finished it so we had to make a blog post to let you know about the book we read, the author of this book is Lynda Mullaly Hunt. First, the book started like this. There is a girl called Ally and she is bullied by two girls, Jessica and Shay who say to Ally and everyone that Ally is dumb at reading. But Ally is not dumb at reading, she just has dyslexia and she does not know about that yet, her brother Travis has always cheered her sister up when she is down. She is often shy to ask for help so two children named Keisha and Albert helped her out in school and always has her back. Mr Daniels which is Ally's new teacher finds out that Ally can't read so Mr Daniels helps her throughout the school. I loved this book and so did my whole class and I think you should read this book too, hope you like it and have a great day😄👍.

Thanks for sharing about this book Ranit. It sounds like a great book that I would enjoy reading. I'm glad that there were kind people to help Ally out at her school. In the first sentence of this blogpost, it would sound better if you said 'For the last three terms...
ReplyDeleteYou also said 'his brother Travis' but it should be 'her brother Travis'
Keep up the awesome work getting your blog posts completed frequently.
I'm so glad you enjoyed 'Fish in a Tree' Ranit! I did too! Why did you enjoy it? Did you have a favourite character?
ReplyDeleteRemember to keep an eye on your punctuation :-)
