My Trip to Kaikoura

See the beautiful place...Kaikoura

On September 16th my family and I decided to go to Kaikoura to see the seals and have lunch over there as well. It will take three hours to get to this beautiful place...Kaikoura.

It was a very long drive to Kaikoura. First we went to my Aunt's house to help them pack and put stuff in the car. Then we left our Aunt’s house and their left their house as well, then we rolled.

When my dad was driving I looked out the window and saw a big ball covered with lots of windmills. We stopped next to it then we waited for my friend Ayush, we waited for half an hour. Then they came, then we started driving again, for 3 hours.

I was asleep then I woke up, stretching my arms and legs. My dad looked behind and looked at me, said “good afternoon Ranit”. “ “Look at the seals on the rocks”. Said mum.I looked on the rocks and I did not see a seal. Not even one of them. My dad took us closer to the seals, which means we went close to the rocks where the seal was, but I did not see one.My dad said “let me take a picture of you”. I said “ok”. When I stood on the rock my mum screamed. Once I looked behind me they was a seal. It was a woman because it had a baby with it and it was eat fish.Then all of us took pictures of the seal then went back to the car and started travelling again.  

When we went past the seals, I saw a sign on the bridge that we went under it. It said Kaikoura. I was shocked that we were already at Kaikoura. Well I did not worry about it so We went down the mountains and I saw people dressed up as pirates and other characters as well then we started looking for parking then I saw a festival then we quickly found a parking space then went to the festival.

I saw a festival right beside of the school. So my dad and my other family found a parking space then we parked, went out of the car and went to the festival. When we entered the door we saw bungy jumping, a playground and shops. We saw Candy floss, one of my favorite Candy. So we bought the Candy floss and ate it then we went to the Jungle playground,it's the name of the playground and it looks like a jungle as well. Rinaz, Yavnit, Ayush and me had a fun day at the playground. Then my mum said, “Ranit, call your brothers and sister, we’re going to see the flowers”. I said “ok mum”, then we went to see the flowers. There were fake ones and real ones as well, my mum did not buy it. The shopkeeper said “Would you like a lollipop, it’s for free”. I said “ok”. When we had our lollipop we went back to the car and went to the town.

When we arrived…the town was full of people, not that much we saw. My  Aunty thought that we should have lunch at a restaurant. Rinaz and me thought that we should have pizza our third favourite food. So we went to the pizza place.

Finally we have arrived at the pizza so we parked. My Aunty thought that they should get the pizza for us and my Aunty said that to us that we have to stay at the fish n chips shop because they are getting the pizza for us because when we all get the pizza and come back, the line will be full of people so there quickly ordered a fish n chip.Got the receipt and they went to the pizza shop when they got back with our pizza we quickly opened it because it smelled good. When I looked at the pizza and took a slice of pizza. When I ate it it was so yummy. So we ate. After we finished the pizza we went to the Mountain that are allowed to climb.

Finally we had made it to the Mountain, so we quickly got out of the car and started working up the Mountain.Once we got up to the Mountain it was a cool view from up the Mountain. When I looked at the lands, it was so beautiful to look at the land, finally we had to go down the Mountain and I hope we come back again at Kaikoura.

Today we went to Canterbury Swim School. Me, Samyog, Axle, Brielle, Janel, Skyler and Mollie had lots of fun in the pool and learning with our instructor Ricardo as well. Hope you like my video, bye!!

Bermuda Triangle the dangerous sea travelling ever!!!

We have been uploading our movie and we thought that we could post our movie to our blog so that you could see our movie as well. We made this movie because if you don't know anything about Bermuda Triangle you could watch this movie. I hope you like our movie and I feel good about myself because I made the movie good and a help from my group in the movie, Samyog.

I'm proud of my team and myself because when we work together we get our movie done. We made our movie interesting and that you can learn from it as well.

W.A.L.T: Write a narrative

IO's first space trip

I was so excited that I had landed on earth, but something was missing. Humans ,not on earth but dead and no one alive.

I cried for one hour, but when I stopped crying, something moved. Everything moved all around me, it was the chimps, evil chimps, all kinds of monkeys were on earth, but I don’t know why. One Chimp came towards me and Said” Who are you and why are you on our planet? “Your planet!” I replied to the Chimp.

The Chimp said “Yes, my planet.”

I said to him “woh woh woh”. This is my planet and I came to save life on this earth not to lose it!!!!”. Then I started dreaming of the older days. “When I was little, I helped people, I took care of some people but, but you monkeys you destroy things, break things.”

“You know why we destroyed your planet” said the Chimp leader. “We destroyed your planet because (sniffs sadly) because your humans destroyed our forest. Not just our forest, our home, our family and now we monkeys have nothing” said the Chimp leader.

“What should we do with this chimp? said the gorilla.

“We should kill him” said the Chimp leader.

I ran into the hospital because there was so many big places to hide. I ran as fast as I could. I saw all kinds of monkeys were following me towards the hospital. When I got inside the hospital, in the middle of the floor there was a door. I opened the door, went in it, then locked it. The monkeys came after me.

The Chimp leader said, “Search everywhere for that stupid Space Chimp!”.

There were stars under ground, I went down, down, and down until I saw a light. I was surprised, there were some same chimps as me and there were living underground for safety. I said, “Hello family Chimps, my name is IO what's your name?.” They did not say anything to me, so when I was going to look around, the Chimp said so silently, “Son”. I was surprised that I was back with my family, but then I started thinking that Mac took me away from my Chimp family and made me the world's first great chimp. “But why did Mac choose me”? I didn’t know the answer yet so just forgot about it. I asked them questions about the monkeys.

The underground Chimp told me that they just came and just destroyed the our home and they used gorillas as they guarded and the gorillas killed all the humans, except us two.

Soon I knew that the Chimp leader was lying to me. Soon I got mad,very mad that I started making some special armor that can keep me safe and some potions that can make me bigger and stronger like in the Jungle Book when King louie lives in the monkey temple. I was ready to come out of the floor but then, I saw all the monkeys were behind me. I slowly came out of the floor then headed to the door outside quietly. I ran into the forest then the monkeys saw me and they were now following me. I climbed up a tree and I shut my mouth and silence. The monkeys came into the forest and started searching for me, Suddenly one monkey climbed a tree that I was on. I took out my invisible potion and dropped a tiny small invisible potion on me then, KABOOM, I was invisible then the monkey reached the top of the tree then it went down. “That was close”I said, then I saw a gorilla taking a little boy to the Chimp leader.

The Chimp leader said, “come out you famous space Chimp, come and save the boy”,

I didn’t say anything and I stayed silent. The boy was so scared that the monkeys would kill him and I was thinking the same. The leader monkey took the boy to a secret place called Hopone. Hopone, I said to myself, then I started following and they couldn’t see me following them because I put invisible potion on me. Once we reached there it was huge and very wide and a very big door, and inside was very smelly dead rats and a dusty old house. It was same as hospital, and it had the door that was on the floor. They went in it and I waited for 40 seconds, then I went in it. When I went in it, Suddenly my invisible potion was no longer working!!!!.  The  monkeys heard me behind them and I started running upstairs, but the gorilla blocked the ladder and the leader chimp said, “Take him to the burning house and tie him up with the rope that can bend but can’t break”. When I got to the burning house I felt hot and so sweaty that it was hot as a burning pan on a stove, and I heard crying beside me. It was the same boy that I saw with the Chimp leader. “What’s your name?” I said to the boy. “My name is Chloe, Mac’s son” said the boy. I was surprised that my trainer had a son. That made me so mad, and do you know why I got mad? Because if anyone touches or kidnaps my trainer's son or anyone in my trainer’s family, I get so mad that's why!!!!. I cut the rope with the cutting potion and and put on karate potion then I could do all the Karate, yahoo!!!!. I cut Chloe’s rope too and I told him “stay behind me and I’ll protect you”. So he did as I say. Then suddenly one big gorilla jumped in front of me then, Karate time, one punch in the tummy, one punch in the head and one punch in the face. Boom, he's dead. When the gorilla was dead 10 more monkeys came to fight, so Karate again. All the monkeys were dead but the Chimp leader was missing so I went to find him. I saw one chimp went to a house so I picked up a sword and went to the house. Will I survive or will the Chimp leader? Don, don, don.
